My outfit for the day!..
Yesterday marathon was awesome, this was my first race of the year! Although, I didn't go for my best timing but I did enjoyed the race. After changing, I went out took a cab and told the uncle I'm heading to Changi Exhibition Hall. What surprise me was the uncle did not know where is that place and asked me whether do i know? If I know how to go, I wouldn't be taking a cab, right?
I was so mad, so I told the uncle to drop me at Expo instead. Luckily, he said he knows how to go. Or not, I will flare up at him! Haha!
On the way, the traffic was horrible! Heavy traffic when on our way out to PIE! Initial thought was how come the traffic so heavy? Until we reached a junction and saw multiple cars accident.. I was shocked! Well, after the heavy traffic everything was smooth. And, I supposed to meet one of my colleague at Changi exhibition centre but I changed location to Expo since I am reaching there.

The seaside..
So, after reaching I met my friend than we headed to the destination and consider we are early. The weather was so damn humid and I was sweating like mad! At the same time, I am so excited about the race!

behind the stage..
We deposit our bag and waiting for our other friend. But however, our friend came late! So when the event started we ran without him. While running, the crowd was so bad that I keep stuck at the back. So, no choice got to suck my thumb to move with the flow. Upon running till 3 km, my neck started to feel pain no choice i got to stopped and walk for awhile till the pain comes down and run again, and this continue the end of 10km.
So, it took me 1 hr 31 mins to complete the whole race. I expected the timing as I know I will not be able to hit my target timing 56mins. But at least, I did not give up and eventually I enjoyed the race to the fullest!
The volunteers were cheerful and helpful. I remembered that I had missed one water point and badly in need of water. One volunteer gave me even though she was busy catering others. I was contented! hee~
After the race, both me and my friend were dead tired and head back home. And, we were told by my friend that the next day our muscle will like as if been knock down by MRT train and asked us to do lots of massage after home.
So we bid goodbye as, he was following his parents for dinner. While me and my other friend took the shutter bus. The shuttle service was great and I am fortunate to get a seats and they controlled the amount of people in the bus.
On the way, the traffic was really bad but I wouldn't mind as just nice the 21km run had flagged off. So, it's an chance for me to see how the experts run. I saluate to those who had run for 21km and 42km. It took lots of energy and saw them running without stopping.
After 10 mins to 20mins of jam, we managed to get to Expo and we separated from there. As usual, I took a cab back..
Upon reaching home and bathed from a hot shower. I realized that my muscle started to ache and I quickly put on my counter pain and plaster that similar to salonpas. Then I head to bed and sleep.
Until this morning my legs were fine but my body as though been rolled over by a car. The ache was speechless. I went to BPP to do some massage and it indeed ease a lot and now, I putted more plaster and counter pain, and hope tml will get better. Well, got to go and sleep. Tml I am working!~ Bye..

My medal.. And, this will not be my last race!..
